The staff is amazing. The guys are awesome and extremely helpful with all questions that we had during our journey in Istanbul. They also gave some advice about what to see, the best places to visit and so on. The breakfast was good, I would rate it 4/5 just because the menu was the same, but it was the buffet so you can choose anything you want and can choose your own menu each day. But yeah, all dishes are the same for each day. The location is great, you have everything you need near the hotel (shops, pharma, sightseeing, restaurants, and so on).

Staff at front desk, either day or night, were super helpful with directions, calling taxi, making suggestions etc. The facitlities are pretty good, but the staff made it excellent.

Well, It was really a fantastic experience. Tashkonak Hotel is a very nice Hotel to stay in during your visit to Istanbul. The staff are super nice. Mr Hakan was very friendly and helpful, and due to the time difference we had mistaken the date of our first night at the hotel and when we recognized that we reached out to Mr Coskun who has adjusted the reservation for us very smoothly. We also appreciate the night front desk receptionist and Rajab who helped us a lot. We might forgot some names but all the staff there are super nice. They have a supermarket close to the hotel and the people selling there are fantastically friendly. We recommend Tashkonak for everyone who wants to visit Istanbul.

Great boutique hotel in the perfect Old Town location between the Blue Mosque and the waterfront, very comfortable, fantastic staff, and excellent breakfast. They were able to arrange early check-in for us when we arrived (from a cruise) and even held our bags for us while we went to Cappadocia for a couple of days. They also recommended excellent local restaurants - local and tourist ones! There was no kettle in the room, but they made tea and coffee for us in the lounge. Very well priced for all that!

Perfect location for access to The Blue Mosque and many other tourist attractions. Tram station at Sultan Ahmet close allowing easy access to other parts of the city and a very cheap way to get around. Plenty of small restaurants in the area providing local dishes. Hotel staff extremely helpful arranging a cruise, booking tickets to see the Dervishers and providing advice on the best and cheapest ways to get around the city.

Nice clean establishment run by family . Helpful and accommodating. Breakfast ok too . Based very near to key tourist attractions eg asofya hagia, blue mosque etc- marina, bazaars. Lots of csfes snd restaurants too

An amazing location (in the shadow of the Sultanahmet Mosque) and great roof terrace. Extremely helpful staff. The best breakfast of the seven places I stayed during two weeks of travel in Turkey (all with good breakfasts). I also recommend the New Season restaurant nearby, serving a variety of Turkish and international cuisine, including some delicious Ottoman court dishes.
